Colleen Curry is a Research Assistant II at Michigan State University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Michigan State University in 1988. Her early research experiences include interning at the Kellogg Co. research facility in Battle Creek and working in the laboratories of Dr. Paul Kindell and Dr. Robert Olien at Michigan State University researching the cell wall structure of Lemna minor and freeze-inhibiting polysaccharides. In 1990, Colleen began working with Joseph Leykam at the newly formed Macromolecular Structure, Synthesis and Sequencing Core Facility (MSSSF) at MSU. In 2011, upon closure of the MSSSF, Colleen began her current work at the Genomics Technology Support Facility delving now into the DNA sequencing side of science.
