Illumina Webinar

On October 7th at 1 PM, Lauren Fait from Illumina will present a webinar highlighting the features of the NovaSeq 6000 and applications that can be run on this sequencing instrument.  This webinar will be hosted by Illumina, and registration is required at the link below.

10x Genomics Webinar

On October 19th at 10 AM, Dr. Egon Ranghin from 10x Genomics will present the first in a series of webinar about single cell sequencing with the 10x Chromium.  This webinar will be hosted by 10x Genomics, and registration is required at the link below.

Nanopore Day Webinar

On October 26th 11 AM to 1:30 PM, Oxford Nanopore will present an MSU Nanopore Day consisting of 25 minute presentations by six different speakers.  Topics will include Oxford Nanopore technology, Nanopore sequencing at the MSU Genomics Core, high throughput SARS-CoV-2 sequencing and analysis, adaptive sampling sequencing of disease pathogens.  The current schedule can be viewed at the registration page.  Registration will be required at the link below.

"How much sequencing do I need?" Webinar

On November 2nd at 10 AM, the MSU Genomics Core will present a webinar about how to determine the amount and type of sequencing required for your experiments.  MSU researchers had been adept at determining their sequencing needs for the HiSeq 4000, but the NovaSeq 6000 has many more sequencing options that require researchers to revisit their sequencing strategies.
