disciplines and the research lifecycle.
What’s new:
- FIB-SEM + high-pressure freezing capabilities added
- Imaging of structures in thicker, near-native samples
- Spatial Transcriptomics capabilities now available (10x Visium HD; AVITI24 Teton coming Fall 2026)
- Integrated pipeline with the Investigative Histopathology Lab and Digital Slide Scanning Core
- Spatial metabolomics (MALDI-TOF/TOF) capabilities
- New high-sensitivity instrumentation - Excedion Pro
- Improved detection of post-translational modifications
Metabolic Phenotyping & Preclinical Imaging (formerly IVIS Spectrum Imaging Core)
- Rebranded to reflect expanded scope
- Metabolic cages, body composition analysis, and full rodent study support
- Expanded iPSC reprogramming support (human + select species)
Transgenic & Genome Editing Facility
- Enhanced in vivo CRISPR delivery
- Broader model organism support (mouse, rat, grass rat)
